Interactive Virtual Workshop:

Foundations

Foundations to Embodied and Embedded Indigenous Cultural Safety and Humility in Support of:

• the TRC Calls to Action
• Decolonizing for Organizations
• Somatics Focused Individual Practice

Harley Eagle will explore and build a foundation of understanding that includes, an Indigenous perspective on Colonization, Addressing Systemic Racism, and Trauma-Informed Practice which are major components of Indigenous Cultural Safety and Humility.

Through interactive whole group and small group discussions and reflective exercises, this workshop builds on these foundational understandings so that participants together surface what is meaningful to an individual’s professional practice and what might be relevant to their unique organizational setting and its desire to address systemic racism and strengthen or embed Indigenous Cultural Safety and Humility throughout the organization.

Every workshop participant will be provided a certificate of completion and a digital resource document for their continued journey.
